🔎 Overview

Cymatics is the study of how sound shapes matter.
In the 18th century, physicist Ernst Chladni showed how sound could move sand on a plate into clear geometric forms. In the 1960s, Hans Jenny expanded this work and recorded how sound waves organize liquid into living, shifting structures.

My own journey into cymatics started in high school, when I discovered Masaru Emoto’s water experiments. As a teenager, seeing water respond to intention and vibration changed how I looked at reality. That early spark stayed with me and grew into a simple question:
How can sound, something we hear every day and everywhere, shape the world around us in such profound ways?

The Cymatic Symphony grew from more than 100 hours of focused curiosity, work, and experiment.

This installation lets the viewer experience how sound interacts with matter in real time, and invites them to watch how sound and resonance unfold hidden patterns of the nature.
