"Ego Dissolution" is a phygital experience to discover a sense of ego, self and image.
A Kinect sensor tracks the participant and turns the body into particles. A solid shape breaks into a field of moving points. What was whole becomes a shifting constellation, thin and open to change.
With an Xbox controller, the participant steers this cloud. They can twist it into spirals, stretch it into trails, or push it through distortions. In doing so, they reshape their own image over and over.
This play of movement and fragmentation points to ego dissolution, where the edges of identity soften. In the attempt to control and refine the self-image, the participant finds that control is in fact a form of surrender, as the image drifts back into flux.
Dissolution is not an end but a shift. It is a passage into states where the self is expanded, scattered, and recomposed in response to its surroundings.
